OUR MISSION & VISION
Girls Gone Political (GGP) is a young women's grassroots civic movement from Zambia that was founded in 2020. We are championing for the enhanced participation and increased representation of authentic young women below 35 in politics and the public service.
Our Mission is to create a platform that amplifies the voice of girls & young women in society and ensures that young women are fully represented and participate at the decision-making table as well as at all levels of Zambia's political & governance sphere.
OUR STORY AS ARCHITECTS OF CHANGE
Since our inception, we have passionately built a movement that empowers and inspires through grassroots mobilization and strategic engagement with the people, partners, policymakers, we drive conversations that promote a more inclusive society.
Our movement addresses critical issues such as limited access to civic education, economic empowerment, gender inequality, and the underrepresentation of young women in leadership roles in Zambia.

We recognize the impact these challenges have on young women's political participation and civic rights, especially in impoverished and patriarchal communities. We believe in the power of collaboration and dialogue to foster understanding and create lasting change
IGNITING POLITICAL SISTERHOOD AND PERSONAL GROWTH
At Girls Gone Political (GGP), we’re not just creating leaders. We’re building a force of trailblazers ready to dismantle the old and usher in a new era. We know that the path to political power isn’t walked alone, so we’re igniting a fierce sisterhood that stands united, lifting each other higher, and breaking through every societal and patriachal barrier.

Through bold leadership training and essential resources, we equip women with the skills to take charge and transform their communities. This is more than just individual success—it’s a movement of young women reclaiming their power, shaping the future, and sparking a revolution
